I'm currently paying around £130-140 monthly on my electric, I'm not using anything excessive either. Is this high? What do you pay? We are in a 3 bed house and there is 2 of usPutting aside all the discussion of tariffs and costs, £130-140 a month - £1600 a year - is somewhat above what id expect 2 people in a 3-bed house to be spending. The standing charge is £200 a year, so it sounds like you're spending £1400 a year on electricity - which is about 5400 kWh.The national average dual-fuel household only uses 2700 kWh/yr, so you're using double that. You need to look closely at where it's all going.N. I note that the OP hasn't commented on this thread yet, so we might never learn more about their electricity use or whether they've been able to reduce it.N. Hampshire, he/him. Correct, probably another sucked in by Utility Warehouse doctoring the figures or taking average usage of area (meaningless) to their favour, they all do it.
Such a shame how these companies work in £ rather than actual usage, some you cannot input actual usage or make it almost impossible to do so.0
