Best way to join two two electrical cables outside for security light.

Hi folks,
In the past I usually had to connect the electrical cable directly into the security light fitting, but with the two led lights I have bought they have already a cable coming out of them, so its a matter of finding a connector adapter to connect their cables to the existing cable coming out of the house.
I have seen little connection splitter boxes in the past, small little matchbox size things, but can anyone point me to a decent one that will do for outside.
Thanks a lot

Ideally you want an IP68 rated connector. Here's an example, but they're widely available in a variety of places. An IP67 rated connector might be sufficient - but for the price difference, you may as well go belt 'n' braces and go for the higher-rated version.

Why not some weatherproof outdoor junction box (IP65)?1

If you use a weatherproof box, run the wires in through the bottom if at all possible. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
Have a look at these on amazon small waterproof connectors I used these on my mothers outside lights £4.99 for 2

Rather than having a connector on display, I'd do as others have suggested and run the wires into an outdoor junction box (through the bottom). You can than use Wagos or your preferred connectors inside the box. Looks much neater.0
