Helooo!
I have a Baxi Bermuda (552) Boiler in my lounge and need a new fire frontage for it. Anyone got any ideas where I can get one?
I am in the Cardiff area (although a business with a website would be cool too, wherever they are) and any style of Baxi Bermuda fire would do (i.e. contemporary, traditional etc).
Chioce seems limited, out there.
Hope someone can help!
Thanks.

Hey MadJohn,
try here for what is compatible with the 552 http://www.baxi.co.uk/products/gas/backBoilers/renewals.html then shop about for best price and of course somebody Corgi registered to fit.
Hope it helps

Hiya Gaz,
Thanks for the link. But - and there's always one, lol - I am actually looking for links to companies that supply the fires too. By this, I mean if there is anyone who can recommend a Baxi Bermuda Fire dealer, as the ones I have seen locally and on the net so far have few and far between for the 552 model.
But your link was not wasted! I had been to the Baxi website previously but missed this very page! doh!
So thanks, all the same!

Hi Again,
I am pretty sure all the outset and radiant range will fit but check with Baxi first to confirm this - 08706 060780.
Then try plumb center (just put Baxi in search box) for an indication of prices - http://www.plumbcenter.co.uk/plumb/default.html - don't forget a tradesman will probably get a discount off these prices.

Nice on fella!
I'll give Baxi a ring - and I found a cheap fire on Kelkoo too - best make sure it fits, tho.
In addition - I went to the Plumb Centre website but it's rubbish. The windows don't always pop up (I have turned off the pop-up blocker, too) and there are few images. Most of the other supplier sites through Baxi don't have online catalogues, either.
Ho-hum, their loss.
Thanks for your time and help! That window's cracked on both sides!!0 -
I have the same problem, but requested a brochure from the Baxi website. As far as I could tell you can only use the Baxi fires and you have to be quite careful to check the model no of you boiler as not even all Baxis will work.
About a day after the Baxi brochure was delivered, I received another info pack from a local Baxi-license dealer/fitter who had been sent my details from the Baxi website. You could start there.0 -
Thanks pinksleepybear,
I now know there are only 6 or 7 fires available to me for my Baxi Bermuda 552. It has to be an outset fire too.
I called Baxi themselves and got the answer that way.
Thanks to all for their help and advice!

Personally I think the BAXI stuff is rank, we got a plumber to cut the fire off of the front, leaving the boiler behind, and got a really nice electric fire with surorund that is flat, we simply pushed that in front of the boiler, looks great cost about £600 all in0

We were told we HAD to have a fire and that Corgi Regs would not allow us to just have a boiler!

I got told the same as AuntyJean, too. We cannot even turn on the boiler at all without a front. That window's cracked on both sides!!0

Our plumber guy was the one who suggested it, he capped the bit that connects to the fire in about 10 mins flat, has been like that for about a year now and works well for us, if anyone wants piccy of it send me a pm0
