Field Agency Face to Face Visits

So Fieldcall have been out to the flat today.  My partner spoke to them on the intercom & told them I no longer live there & put the phone down.  They left a note saying they would call again.

Does anyone have any idea how many times they will call before giving up?

Also whilst googling I found this template letter below on MSE from 2010.  Would this still be advised?

Please be advised that I will only communicate with you in writing. I have noted your repeated attempts to contact me over the past few weeks and these have been duly logged by time and date.

Furthermore, should it be your intention to arrange a “doorstep visit”, please be advised that under OFT rules, you can only visit me at my home if you make an appointment and I have no wish to make such an appointment with you.

There is an implied license under English Common Law for people to be able to visit me on my property without express permission; the postman and people asking for directions etc (Armstrong v Sheppard & Short Ltd [1959] 2 QB 384. per Lord Evershed M.R.). Therefore take note that I revoke license under Common Law for you, or your representatives to visit me at my property and, if you do so, you will be liable to damages for a tort of trespass and action will be taken, including but not limited to, police attendance.

Well the OFT no longer exist, its been the FCA for a while now, such letters are a bit ambiguous really.

These people are just employees of a 3rd party company, they are not bailiffs, they have no more influence or power than you or I or the Deliveroo driver has, tell them to leave, insist you are not going to discuss matters of a personal nature with them, its that simple really.

They aren't worth worrying about really. Let them waste their time if want to, simply tell them to leave it they do turn up again and they'll eventually get bored.
