Field Agency Face to Face Visits

Hi,
I am doing a self managed DMP. Most loans will soon default.
Today I received a letter from Abound, Fintern Ltd which says "Our chosen field agency will attempt to engage with you via a face to face visit to reconnect you with us"
From reading many of the posts on here I didn't think debt agencies did face to face visits. Does anyone know whats likely to happen & what rights they have?
I feel sick with worry

Some do, resolvecall is the one I've mainly heard of. They don't have any rights at all, deal with them the same way you would deal with a double glazing salesman or a jehovahs witness - don't say anything except please leave or better still don't answer the door in the first place.1

'No thanks' is my standard reply to anyone at my door attempting to engage me in an unwanted discussion.
Abound is a bottom end lender so I doubt they have their own door knockers.1 -
Can I ask why you are making payments if the loans haven't defaulted yet?Genie10 said:Hi,

If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
Have you looked at an affordability complaint against Abound? Then you just tell anyone at the door, that you are disputing the debt with Abound.1

No need to be worried, these companies are not debt collectors, they are tracing agents, a company engaged to knock on your door just to tell you that your creditor, whoever that may be, wants to discuss a "personal matter" with you, that`s it, nothing more than that.Genie10 said:Hi,

Its exactly what it says on the tin, are you worried when the postman knocks on your door? no of course not, either ignore them, or ask them to leave, film them or blow raspberries, they are of no importance here.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
