Delay in ISA transfer money appearing

I recently transferred a stocks and shares ISA to a cash ISA. The stocks and shares ISA provider wrote to me on 13/11/2025 to say my instruction to transfer the ISA was complete and a payment (of the cash concerned) had been sent to the new provider.
However, the cash has still not appeared in my ISA account with the new provider (when I check in online banking). It seems a bit strange that after 5 days the cash has apparently not been deposited. Could there be a legitimate explanation - surely they only need to deposit the cash received?0

In my experience it's quite normal for cash to be transferred a week or so after the shares.0

Only three of those five days have been business days though.TuppenceHapenny said:I recently transferred a stocks and shares ISA to a cash ISA. Transfers between cash ISAs should be completed within 15 business days, which includes 3 business days for the new manager to apply the funds to the new ISA, plus another business day for the physical transfer.
However, a transfer from S&S to cash ISA isn't required to complete in those timescales and instead has a 30 calendar day window.
ISA transfers aren't like faster payments between standard bank accounts, so entail various extra tasks - some ISA providers handle these faster than others, but no reason to be concerned at this stage....2 -
Did you ask the new provider to initiate the transfer?0

So, you expect your transaction to take a bit longer.
