Account switch from Kroo - not part of the Current Account Switch Service (CASS)

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has successfully switched an account from Kroo (or another bank that isn't part of CASS) and claimed the switching incentive?
I went thgrough the whole process on the Lloyds app but, when it asked "what is the name of your bank" and Kroo wasn't on the list, it said it would not switch automatically and I would not receive the incentive.
Any insights much appreciated

You have to switch from a CASS participating bank and do a full CASS switch to get the Lloyds (or any bank's) switching incentive.2

As above, the need to use CASS is spelt out right at the beginning, even before needing to read the detailed terms (where there are multiple further mentions of the CASS requirement):DATMAN63 said:Hi All,

Any insights much appreciatedhttps://www.lloydsbank.com/current-accounts/switch.htmlTo qualify, you’ll need to follow these simple steps;
- Open a new Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver, Club Lloyds Platinum or Lloyds Premier account.
- Use the Current Account Switching Service to switch 3 or more active direct debits and close your bank account held with another bank.

Thanks both. That’s very clear and helpful 👍0

As above but you can open an account elsewhere and switch that for the incentive. Metro are quick and easy to open.0
