Paid £20 for our turkey crown fed us for several days @ local butcher last year. Also came from a named local farm. Which is the same price as Sainsbury frozen one.
So no financial privilege.

Sadly reason many do not have them, is people stopped using them. I found in covid they were the best source in the area. Stuck with them ever since as have many other that use them.

Since covid the butcher on our local High St has closed but the butchers at the local shops seem to be busier than ever, they are obviously doing something right.

I get mine from Asda each year, butter under the skin, cover in bacon and every year it has been so juicy and lovely. 

Our local butcher quoted £80 for the equivalent !

Pointless looking in November for turkey prices, they'll come down a lot before Christmas.

They'll all be price matching a £2.50 - £3 a kilo for fresh ones again

Have a Turkey Breast with stuffing in our order for Christmas,was doing this weeks shop online and noticed that the one we have on order seems to have dropped by £10 over the weekend, so quick change to Christmas order done and £10 saved.
If any of you have booked early to get a slot worth keeping a eye out to see if any items do change before pickup date.
