Current account not showing on any of the credit reference agencies

I have an RBS select current account, it's a very old account, constant activity, wages paid in, direct debits/regular card payments go out, has an arranged overdraft, details appear correct. It's not listed on any credit report. My RBS mortgage is listed on all of them.
I also have a Nationwide current account, a few years old, £0 balance, never used, inactive. It's on all my credit reports.
Why is this, and does it matter?
I'll shortly be applying for a new mortgage.
TIA

Chances are it'll be the age then - I don't know exactly when current accounts started being reported to credit agencies but IIRC it was within the last 30-40 years so very old accounts may predate this.feynman33 said:I have an RBS select current account, it's a very old account, constant activity, wages paid in, direct debits/regular card payments go out, has an arranged overdraft, details appear correct. Doesn't really matter0

As above, I have first direct accounts which were opened 28 years ago and they don't appear on any credit report.

I've an RBS CA of similar vintage, main account in daily use, that's not on any credit report,
It feels like a small, irrational victory.0 -
According to Google:
Current accounts became reportable to credit reference agencies as part of the companies act 2006.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Thanks all. I'm sure it converted to 'Select' more recently, but the original account may well be 20-30 years old. I'd have thought all active accounts get reported regardless of age, but it sounds like i don't need to be concerned about it
