How to book parking at Wokingham station car park?
Hi,
I must have booked parking at 90 or more railway station car parks over the years...but i cant find how to book parking at wokingham station from tomorrow to a week later.
I am trying to do it on my laptop....i logged into my apcoa account and can see it says there are 531 spaces and for £35.50/week, but i cant find it on APCOA booking web page, and cant find any other way to book parking at wokingham station car park.
Do you know how?
Incidentally, i cant find out how to park for a week at the following places either (using my laptop, not smartphone)....
Winnersh park and ride , Reading
Thames valley park and ride , Reading
Mereoak park and ride, Reading.
....all the park and rides seem to only allow one to book parking for the same day up until 6pm and no later? They dont offer any facility to park for a week?

It’s probably one where you can’t book in advance. You turn up and pay when you get there if there’s a space.ETA - you can pay in advance with the RingGo app, but it doesn’t appear to guarantee you a space. If there’s no barrier, there’s nothing to stop anyone driving in and parking there, so it looks like you’re going to have to take your chances or park somewhere else that you can pre-book.if you have a smart phone, I don’t know why you wouldn’t just download the app and use that anyway. It’s not exactly rocket science - my 86-year-old mother manages it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Thanks, i went on the www on the laptop, and it says Wokingham Railway Station Car Park is Ringgo car park 23823.....but that comes up as "wokingham carnival pool MSCP"...which is a multi storey car park quite a way from wokingham rail station....EDIT.....OK , went to nationalrail.co.uk and it says wokingham rail station is ringgo 77489.
The mystery of how to book a week's parking at the Reading park and rides goes on though. Anybody know?
In Oxford i had to send off to the council for a permit which was delivered to my home address...and then i could park there for a week at the park and ride near osney island.0 -
Does the park and ride allow overnight parking ? (I don't know about Reading in particular , but neither of the ones in my local towns do).faringdon said:The mystery of how to book a week's parking at the Reading park and rides goes on though. Anybody know?

If they are offering free parking and getting the money back via the bus fares, which appears to be the case in Reading, as opposed to charging for the parking and providing the bus travel free, and it's not a 24-hour service on the buses then they may close the parks overnight and expect them to be empty.0
