Terms and Conditions for Korea Tourism Organization “A return trip for 2 to South Korea” Giveaway (UK)

1. Promoters and Eligibility

1.1 Promoters:

The giveaway is promoted by the Korea Tourism Organization (“KTO”), referred to as the “Promoter”

1.2 Eligibility:

The giveaway is open to individuals who are:

Aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

Legal residents of the United Kingdom.

Not employees, agents, or immediate family members of KTO, Virgin Atlantic, or their affiliates.

2. Entry and Participation 

2.1 Entry Period:

The giveaway will run for the dates specified in the official giveaway announcement.

2.2 How to Enter:

Participants must follow the instructions provided in the giveaway announcement, which may include following social media accounts, sharing posts, or submitting an entry form.

2.3 Entry Requirements:

Participants must provide accurate and complete information. Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated.

3. Prize Details

3.1 Prize:

Prize is for 2 passengers on Wendy Wu Tours Scenic South Korea tour holiday in a shared room. Additional cost to prize winner will be tipping payable locally of USD50pp and any other personal expenditure. Passengers must have a valid passport, visa and insurance to travel. Prize is valid for travel in 2025 and 2026 only and is subject to availability. This prize cannot be combined with any offer or loyalty discount. Prize cannot be transferred to another person. Entrants must be 18+ years to apply. Entries are limited to one per person.

3.2 Prize Restrictions:

The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative. The tickets may not be reissued or changed once travel has commenced. Open tickets will not be issued and stopovers are not permitted.

The Winner and their travel companion must possess valid travel documents (passport, visas, etc.); all such expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

The Prize can only be redeemed from 29 March 2026 when Virgin Atlantic commences flying between LHR and ICN.

The Prize must be taken by 31 December 2026 or will be forfeited by the Winner.

The Winner must provide the Promoter with at least sixty (60) days’ prior notice before the intended departure date and specify a minimum of three (3) preferred sets of dates.

If the Winner elects to partake in the Prize with no companion, the remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. The Winner and their companion must travel at the same time and on the same itinerary.

The Prize excludes ground transport between the winner’s (and/or their companions’) home address and the airport. The Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, laundry service, hotel room service, car hire, gasoline, inspection charges, additional baggage fees, security charges, travel insurance, personal expenses, incidentals, visas, vaccinations, hotel room service, laundry service, merchandise, souvenirs, tips, gratuities, service charges, car parking charges), are included in the Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

Please note that travel dates are subject to the Airline’s approval, blackout dates, availability, travel restrictions, and subject to change without written notice or warning.

4. Winner Selection and Notification

4.1 Selection:

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.

4.2 Notification:

The winner will be notified via email or direct message within 10 days of the giveaway closing. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.

5. Prize Redemption

5.1 Redemption:

The winner must follow the instructions provided by the Promoters to claim the prize. The prize can only be redeemed once and must be booked in the specified currency.

5.2 Booking Modifications:

Any modifications to the booking are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of Virgin Atlantic.

6. Liability and Responsibility

6.1 Travel Arrangements:

The Promoters are not responsible for any travel arrangements beyond the specified flights. The winner is responsible for all other travel-related expenses, including but not limited to accommodation, transfers, meals, and insurance.

6.2 Force Majeure:

The Promoters are not liable for any failure to provide the prize due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.

7. Data Protection

7.1 Personal Data:

By entering the giveaway, participants agree to the collection, storage, and use of their personal data for the purpose of administering the giveaway, notifying the winner and sharing future marketing emails. Participants can opt out at any time by replying "STOP". Personal data will be handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8. General Terms

8.1 Compliance:

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the Promoters, which are final and binding.

8.2 Disqualification:
