How is Attendance Allowance Paid? No Bank Details Requested.

Hi
My Dad who is 93 applied online for Attendance Allowance in October, but they did not ask for his bank details during the application.
He has since received a letter confirming that he has been awarded AA, but again they did not as for his bank details.
Does anyone know what happens next, is this normal procedure and will they be writing to him again?
Thanks

That’s good news. Usually by the time you get the award letter with a lot of benefits the money has already gone into the account. As Lorian has said, they already know the account details from his pension so it isn’t a mistakevonsworld said:Hi
