Morning all

Sunny here for now but more rain due later, I hope everyone is safe from the flooding and storms.

FIL will be in hospital until Monday at the earliest they think his fall was due to an infection inside, he has been having trouble with constipation and his water works so they have him on meds and a drip to try and clear it up, OH sister came down for a flying visit for all of 1/2 hour 🙄 she makes me so cross she does nothing at all for her parents OH does everything and she got cross with him for not phoning her straight away when it happened, I’m biting my tongue here, I know she lives far away but she could do things like a shopping delivery once a week I’m afraid she just doesn’t care at all.

Dinner for OH and I will be an easy pie and chips with peas, dd is working a late so will eat there. 

The men are coming Friday to start the drying out process in the utility they think it will take about four weeks and then we have to get the room done up so I can see this going on till after Christmas. The wm company are waiting for the engineers report before they can send a new one so we are still without a machine.

Good afternoon 

Hello again. I have been MiA, no reason why, and I cant say I've done anything special, it's just that time of year, and the days have just run away with me. A quick catch up, I went back to the eye clinic but they cant do me other eye yet as the cornea in the eye I had the surgery on is still slightly swollen, so I have another appointment the beginning of December. Hopefully it will be ok and they can do the other eye.

Cheese and onion burgers in brioche rolls, with chips tonight, then Strictly.

I hope everyone is keeping well, I will go back and read everyone's news. Take care all and I'll try to post more often.

We 're hosting DB2 & SiL later, doing a Greek night. DHs specialities are prepared, and I cooked a beef stifado last night. House tidied too, amazing what having people round can do

No flooding but there is a massive tree down which has blocked the steps down to the river path. I went to go down after school and 4 boys told me they had climbed over the trunk to get up. I didn't see the full extent until this morning. Not sure who to report it to as it's a public footpath which I think might be different to the council. DH and I shifted a few smaller branches to the side of the path, then a man came down and climbed over the big trunk- don't think DH is up to that yet, and my legs are too short! as are pooch's
