Reviving this to see if anyone has thoughts.

I am still signed off, my Consultant says I'm nowhere close to being well enough to go back. He has mentioned I'll health retirement again.

    My SSP ran out too.

Work have accepted I've been signed off again, finally seem to have acknowledged OH report perhaps. However I have never had a conversation with them about a different role or adaptations. I asked to work at home which they allowed for a period but now say I need to be back on site.

So I'm not being retired, I'm not being redeployed and I'm not being paid. It seems odd to me.

not sure if you have stated anywhere, but how old are you and how many years service do you have with the company ?

They could look to dismiss on capability grounds

You really need to start being proactive and realistic

I am trying to be realistic. I've always updated on the situation and been honest about what I would need. It gets dismissed because they just want me back onsite and ready to go.

The manager also says "hope you will feel better soon" each time which if kres the evidence that it's a life long and chronic set of conditions.

Hence why I asked - what would I be due if I resign or what should I do now.

I am early 50s. Worked there 8 years and have been accruing holiday the whole time I've been off. So if I resigned what should I receive?

I don't think we can give any more detail than we have already. And we don't what notice period your contract states for your employer to give you.

But you've continued to accrue holiday pay for another 8? weeks.

Ill health retirement would allow you to draw a personal pension earlier than usual, so what pensions do you have?

When your SSP ended you should have been given details of what you could claim. Were you?

Are you in a union? If you are, they might support you in negotiating an ill health exit from your employer.
