PIP review

Hello

I have some questions please.

I've been on PIP and had my review.

Last payment was received 16th October
Assessment took place via phone 28th October
Next payment due date was 13th November

I received the "your PIP review is complete, you should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks" text on the 12th November.

I didn't get paid on the 13th November, so I'm assuming this means I've gone from high care to nothing?

Is PIP paid in arrears? should of still got a payment on 13th even if they've taken my award?

If there’s a refusal you may still be owed a small amount. Best thing to do is ring them on Monday to ask. Just because the text advises not to ring it doesn’t mean you can’t.

Do you have a journal where the decision might have been logged?  Just so you know and aren't thinking about it all weekend.

This is PIP and there’s no such thing as a journal. Journals only exist for Universal Credit.

Yeah call them Monday (they say they can't tell you about a decision but experience is the helpline agents typically will give details of decision letters they can see).... there is the possibility of using the government website to get proof of benefit letter for PIP but it is unclear if that would have been updated with the new decision award (or lack thereof) and you may just waste time setting up an account
