Used car fault reported after 2 weeks but not fixed after 3 months. What are my rights

Hi all,

I bought a used car at the end of August. I reported to the dealer that the car had faults with the suspension, bushes and a few other things which caused the back end to track badly and be loose and also the tyres to wear excessively in the inside.

The dealer had the car back twice to fix these but the faults remain. He said the tracking was out (which he said was fixed) which caused the tyre wear but after putting 2 news tyres on when he gave it back to me the inside edges are nearly bald again after 1000 miles! The back end is still very loose and car tracks sideways over bumps and slightly uneven surfaces. I can only assume this is suspension related.

I am now nearly 3 months after purchase so I fall outside the 30 day rule of the Consumer Rights Act...but do I as I told the dealer about the faults within this 30 day period?

I have spoken to the dealer today and they have said that there is a calculation that they will do regarding reasonable adjustment for the usage I have had (millage increase of about 2k miles in that time) and he will get back to me on Monday.

Is this correct or am I entitled to a full refund as the faults were reported within the initial 30 days and they have had the car back to try to remedy the faults but failed to do so twice.

I have read lots online but the only things I can find are the different options (30 days....full refund and after 30 up to 6 months dealer has one chance to fix then can make reasonable adjustments. Neither of these option apply to be exactly.

Thanks

Is car over 3 years old and got MOT?
To me sounds it would not pass an MOT.
