Hargreaves Lansdown HL - Not issuing Estate Pack

Does anyone know who I can make a complaint to about HL for not sending the Estate Pack over 4 weeks from my father's passing? I'm aware the acct is frozen but that could be another 9-12 months like that waiting for Probate which I can't do until they send the pack. Emails and calls have been met with apologies, 'it's being sent', and I still can't pay the Funeral Directors with the Indemnity Form and Invoice. I'm met with a wall of silence? How can they treat you like this. I'm concerned the estate will take a giant hit, especially with the Autumn Budget coming up. It's seems your screwed by these organisations no matter how hard you try. Thanks for reading this far.

First off do not worry about the autumn budget any changes to IHT won’t be backdated so the date of death is the important one.

Did your father have any bank accounts that can be used to pay for funeral costs? These can usually be released quite rapidly without the need to get probate. If the amount in his accounts is above the bank’s limit where you have to obtain probate you can arrange for the funeral director to be paid directly by the bank.

Have you been speaking to HL’s bereavement team? If not call them.

Do you need to make an IHT return for his estate? If you do I can submit it with estimated values for his Hl account and correct at a later date if this changes the amount of IHT due.
