It's a bit unclear, is he a lodger or a tenant I would have thought he'd be a Lodger but you seem to be saying you granted him an assured shorthold tenancy. Who else lives in the property is it you and your mother, or just your mother.0

Two other tenants me and my mother. these were just forms my uncle used to give me to give to them, I dont really have experience in the matter.
