Who have you been speaking with at JL, OP?
I’d take the coat into a store if I was you. They may be able to come up with a solution for you.I’m with you too. I wouldn’t be happy with a broken zip on such an expensive item either (unless it’s been damaged of course).0 -
Being unhappy with something won't increase your consumer rights.screech_78 said:Who have you been speaking with at JL, OP?

Having already contacted John Lewis and not getting the response the OP wanted they now need to exercise their consumer rights by proving the coat was faulty at time of purchase or it has not lasted because it is deficient in some way.
(It's unfortunate that the OP quoted consumer rights to John Lewis, as they've now made JL aware that the OP didn't actually understand their rights)1
