RBS Platinum

Just applied and was accepted for the RBS Platinum Card online. It was a snap, much easier than I thought it would be.

I'm still waiting to find out whether I paid my CapOne first payment on time, and if they want to be difficult and cane me, I'll move the 3k debt to RBS. I also have 1300 to clear on my Barclaycard, and RBS' "no fee on BT's" came along at just the right time :T

I just applied for this card but was 'referred'. Well I will take that as a rejection cause I was turned down by another CC provider last week. Seeing as I applied for several cards recently, and already be refused, I think I will best stop now.

Hmmm, I know personal circumstances vary wildly, but I have applied for four cards in the last three months and been accepted for each.

RBS (this morning)

My existing Barclaycard will be cleared and closed by August. I owe just over 9k in total (5k of that is stoozed on Virgin).

Do you have a large amount of debt outstanding?

I've been reading the articles, acting on hints to clear debts, making lists, checking them thrice, budgeting, planning, long slow process.....thank God for good weather at least. :rolleyes:
