Energy provider monthly credit card payments

Please could someone recommend an energy provider that enables monthly credit card payments?
I don't mind setting up a direct debit as a back up. I have smart meters and would like a monthly bill i can pay with a credit card (not a fixed amount monthly payment)
I have a credit card with two years zero percent interest so would like to use that.
Thank you

Octopus were quite happy for me to just make payments onto my balance (they accept debit and credit cards) and have the DD set as £1, but they likely wont allow you to do this from the get go.1

Is a monthly variable DD an option for you ? Edf do thatNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Not sure how that would help when the aim is to put it on a 0% credit card?Robin9 said:Is a monthly variable DD an option for you ? Edf do that
OP needs to weigh up the possible loss of DD discount vs credit card.1 -
I would talk to Octopus about MVDD and then make sufficient payments to the account from the credit card to keep it above the monthly bills so the variable DD never gets taken...Just take care not to get too much in credit as it is likely that Octopus would legitimately refuse to refund to anything other than the credit card used to make the payment, so it doesn't become a back-door route to getting cash from the credit card.1

Thank you everyone, i have just spoken to Octopus and they have given me a fixed tariff with monthly bills that i can pay by credit card with the same rates as it would otherwise be for direct debit.
Great Customer Service by them. No bank account details taken although they did a credit search.

I hope you used a referral code from a friend or family member for the £50 each bill credit? If you didn't, then you can still get one and ask them to apply it I believe - I've heard that works.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I did quickly google referral code and one came up from reddit while i was on the phone to Octopus. The advisor said she would apply it for me. I cant see it anywhere and dont know how long it would take to show? But hopefully will do.
