Headphones/mic recommendations for iMac

I need some recommendations for headphones with microphone that can be used for video/voice calls on an iMac. Looking for budget or normal prices so assuming this rules out any Apple products.

On my Windows laptop and desktop, I use a Logitech H390 headset, which is currently £24.95 from Amazon (white colour version). The connection is USB-A (the rectangular 12mm x 4mm plug type). Not sure if that would fit your iMac. The mic capsule is noise cancelling in those, and they work pretty well.1

You can always use a USBA to USBC convertor, most Macs have only have USBC/TB ports these days.Frozen_up_north said:On my Windows laptop and desktop, I use a Logitech H390 headset, which is currently £24.95 from Amazon (white colour version). Never really had a bad set of headphones inc mic from the mainstream brands like Logitech, Sennheiser etc. As long as you are in a low/moderate noise environment they all tend to be ok. Where I've found it worth being more picky is if you are in a high noise environment, software can be good at voice isolation so others dont hear the noise too much but its more being able to hear what's being said/played to you whilst keeping it at a sensible volume. Unfortunately here you have a balance to strike with comfort, noise isolation and price.

Thanks to you both. I'll have a look at the Logitech for starters as it seems a good option.0

Don’t most iMacs have Bluetooth? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

My wife likes her JBL TUNE 510BT but she doesn’t use them for calls, so hasn’t experience of the microphone. Generally JBL is reasonable value. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

Not really answering your question but I've had two headphones with my mac, one was £50 from argos (can't seem to find it on there now), then switched up to more expensive sony ones.
The cheaper ones had a mute button on, and an 'arm' for the mic that could move up away from the mouth. These were great as i could mute myself from the headphones and could see a red light on the arm. I could then confidently make a cup of tea knowing i was muted
The sony ones are far higher quality, but with no arm or mute button, so I have to put myself on mute from the app (zoom) and am having to constantly check if I'm on mute looking at the mac before singing or coughing !1
