Morning all, just grabbing a minute to post. DH has gone for a drive to clear the DPF filter on the car (again) because we're only doing short runs at the moment it keeps coming on. Lennydog had a decent walk this morning, done the ironing, and tried to get my niece tickets for an away football match but the allocation is sold out
Didn't get on yesterday, we had a bit of a disaster the night before- just watching tv about 9, torrential rain really belting down on the conservatory type roof over the table in the kitchen. I don't know what made me look but the gutter wouldn't take it , filled to the top and started leaking in between the wall and gutter . I managed to grab the laptops out of the way and we put pots and pans and towels everywhere. The gutter had blocked with leaves so yesterday DH bought a gutter cleaner and he and DS1 cleaned it all out, and the glass roof. No lasting damage luckily- glad it didn't happen during the night though! We don't have to go to school later, DGS is playing for his school team at another school- we'll prob go and watch but don't have to go as early.Dp1, pleased DGD has got her chosen part
