    Regular Home insurance covers domestic situations, potentially with a lodger too. 

    Arguably a "smallholding" has some form of agricultural use beyond purely domestic which can cause a problem if trying to use regular home insurance but its unclear if the OP truly has a smallholding or just a very big garden including an area with trees. 
    What do lodgers and smallholdings have to do with the OPs question?
    That these are technically business operations which in principle most standard home insurances wouldnt cover, though a single lodger is a general exception to the rule.
