A bit like the impending (rumour alert) EV charge now combustible engines are declining.
Can't help feeling that one's got to come sometime. Taxes on petrol & diesel have been increasingly big money earners for all Governments and that was inevitably going to decline with the net zero commitments and needs to be replaced.
Free motoring just isn't going to happen.

We still get all free juice at work. Been told it will cost more to implement a system to charge for it than it’s worth. As a business we get very cheap electricity.
No good for my diesel Golf though.
