Lloyds Refer a Friend

I noticed that Lloyds seem to have introduced a refer a friend offer giving each person £50. If the friend joins can they also switch an account and be eligible for the £200 bonus? I didn't see anything obvious in the T&C's suggesting that it couldn't.

Nothing in either sets of terms that seem to prevent it from what I can read. The RAF program only needs you to open a new account through the shared referral link. Seperately, the switch incentive offer requires you to open a new account and initiate a switch. The grey area might be if you can't initiate the switch through the referral link process and have to switch seperately after you open the account. And before this discussion starts moving in that direction, just a reminder that sharing referral links is against forum rules.1

Thanks. I'm going to refer my wife. I'll report back once I know.PRAISETHESUN said:Nothing in either sets of terms that seem to prevent it from what I can read. Would anyone like to comment on whether the £50 payments are taxable or not?ceepan said:I noticed that Lloyds seem to have introduced a refer a friend offer giving each person £50.0 -
I've done the same. Wife's switch bonus paid within a couple of days of the switch completing but still waiting for any referral payments to land in our accounts a week or so later. Will give it a couple more weeks then follow-up if still nothing.ceepan said:

Did you ever get the referral bonus paid? My wife wasn't eligible as she also has a Lloyds credit card. I have just referred a friend who is going to go for the new £250 bonus and was just wondering if the referral is also likely to be paid. I don't see anything in either set of T&Cs saying that it shouldn't.mpa91 said:

Did anyone receive the referral bonus and the switch incentive? I'm wondering the same if i can refer someone and they can also switch and receive the incentive.0
