FirstBank - any good?

Hi
I'm considering a FirstBank 2 year fixed rate bond. They are in the MSE 'What We'd Go For' recommendations (and FSE protected) but the Trustpilot reviews for this bank are poor and their website has a distinctly amateurish look about it!
Anyone got any direct experience of a bond with this company? Or tips to impart?
Many thanks.

I'm not sure where you're seeing 'What We'd Go For' recommendations but they do make it clear at the foot of each page thatBabblyB said:I'm considering a FirstBank 2 year fixed rate bond. Or tips to impart?remember we focus on rates not serviceHowever, if you're locking your money away for two years then there's limited value in a sophisticated and comprehensive website, so in itself that ought not to be a particularly significant issue, as long as the processes for application, deposit and eventual withdrawal work?
Trustpilot will have plenty of noise about any financial institution so doesn't necessarily contribute meaningfully to any decision - you could always look at the reviews of competing companies though, if you feel they're relevant?1
