Thankfully no they didn't stop, otherwise I'd not be so laid-back about it!  It literally has just been, that small deduction one month and that's it
Oh that’s good then! Has it taken so long from the original 4 months statement request?
I was wrong about it being May, it actually started in March; uploaded statements in April and it went from there.  But I've heard nothing from them since early July - and to be quite honest at this point I no longer care whether they get back to me.  I know I wasn't over, the one deduction they took was incorrect, and I would be very happy to just be done with it all.

However I would stress again that my totals were over by quite a bit and included Cost of Living Payments to be disregarded, as well as income to not be included in capital.  Hopefully yours will be more straightforward.
I hope so! With our work income deducted alone we’re way below 6k so hopefully it’s nice and straightforward for me

Hey, what was everyone’s review like? Anyone have more than 6k at the end of AP but it worked out less with your deductions such as income from work etc.
The review call... mostly they will likely focus on just asking a few questions about a few transactions they see on statements and getting you to confirm you have no other accounts or investments etc.
Thank you for this. Did you have more than 6k in your account before deductions?

On paper I was over £6k at my review in 2023.
After submitting bank statements I added a Journal note stating with the CoL disregard I was under £6k.
This was accepted during my phone interview and I was asked for individual bank statement pages showing my CoL payments so she could do the calculation.
The calculation came back as under 6k, review complete no changes.
I must not have hit any red flags as I haven't had another review since, I've seen others have multiple.

Oh that’s good the review team did the deductions properly.

For me I’m over £6k but my work income that month isn’t counted as capital so it takes me way below the 6k

I didn't bother arguing about income disregard for mine as with the CoL disregard I was under anyway.

It varies from person to person. Some hear within days, others wait a few months. There will be many variables behind the scenes so if you are waiting a long time I wouldn't read anything bad into it.

Thank you! It’s making me panic and think I’ve done something wrong because it’s taking so long

Just to clarify: is this a UC Review which may involve sending in bank statements? If so, I've read differing accounts about how long people wait before being contacted. As above, some get dealt with quickly, others can wait weeks or months.
Also, the DWP have stepped up the amount of reviews that are taking place. Although the official title is "Targeted Case Review", UC claims that are chosen for review are done so at random. It was announced in the Budget in November that reviews would be increased though they had already been increased prior to this. More background here but as reviews increase so too will waiting times for individual reviews to be dealt with https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/targeted-case-review-management-information/targeted-case-review-management-information
