Does anyone know how I find out how near I am to a SKY exchange? Looking at changing to sky from AOL and it would appear that speed relates to how near to an exchange you are.

    Do you know how to get your line stats out of your router / modem?

    The figures you need are attenuation and snr margin (or words to that effect)

    There's a lot of info on how to get what you are after on the think broadband web-site.

    Worth checking them out.
