Missed deadline for POPLA appeal - McDonalds Canning Town

Hi all

Would appreciate some help with this where my dad got a ticket in the Canning Town McDonalds car park and has been responding without looking up the advice from here and steps... I have tried to summarise where he has got to so far (have told him not to respond further until I can ask here for some advice).

Any help would be appreciated!

He has admitted he was the driver in his attempted first appeal to MET parking services, they rejected this and sent a POPLA code.

He didn't appeal in time and it has now expired and has been asking them to reopen it:

whereby he ate in the McDonalds, and still got a ticket - they claimed to have done a survey inside and he wasn't there - so like above i think he could succeed on appeal...

Is there anyway to reopen the POPLA appeal stage or any ideas of what else can be done?

Thanks

Popla option has expired,  no way back

Plan A in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad is the best option

Otherwise it's fighting a Money Claim in the future

Just ignore it and come back if he gets a claim. Defending a parking claim is even easier than POPLA would have been. No risk.

No CCJ or costs as long as he doesn't move house and not tell them, obviously. But that's common sense; of course you tell a parking firm if you move house while there's a possible claim form coming.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
