Carflow PCN notice.

Hi,
Just wanting some quick advice on whether it is worth appealling a PCN notice I received.
I paid for 2 hours and yes I was 20 minutes late due to my mother being discharged from hospital. When I got back to the car and realised, I went on the app and tried to extend my parking but was unable to. Probably stupidly, I left thinking it would be fine.
Do I have any leg to stand on as there was no option to extend the parking after the fact on the app I originally got the parking on?
Reason on the PCN is "The motorist did not pay for sufficient parking in breach of the terms and conditions of the car park."

Yes don't use a template. Write explaining.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
