In the main, doctors are hard-working rather than lazy. However  if the urologist is a consultant, they would normally send the results to your GP for you to discuss.

Have you contacted your GP about this or are you just maligning them because you’re impatient and can’t wait for the process to happen? And how long ago was “ the other day?”

I don't have that pathway on my NHS app.

    I can do:
    Home
    Your Health
    GP Health Record
    Test Results

My NHS App seems a little different -  I have to go to GP Health Record which gives me Test Results abd Documentation.

What I do not see is Test Results from a different NHS to which I have been referred

As others have said - GP Health Record > Test Results.

Yes fair enough to ask what he meant by that statement. Surgeries tend to contact for abnormal results - so contact them and ask. Maybe it is pre DM and urologist doesn't understand

If hospitals do the blood tests in my experience they don't show in the app, only ones done by the drs.

If the test is done at hospital and are abnormal they tend (some days/weeks/months) later to write to you to tell you and send a copy of the letter to your GP surgery too (as elsien said)

With luck someone will book a follow up appointment.

You could phone the surgery and ask what they anticipate happening. In our practice (and others) you're unlikely to see the GP for a test result indicating diabetes. We have a couple of practice nurses, one who specialises in diabetes, and the other in cardio 'stuff' - so if you've got high BP as well as diabetes you might see her.
