    Had the same problem ~30 years ago in a 1960s bungalow.  Fitted six soffit vents (three at the front, three at the back) which cleared it up overnight, easy job as I could do it from outside and they were only seven feet above the ground .  I didn't realise the soffits were probably asbestos at the time until a decade later when I got someone in to replace the bargeboards, fascias and soffits and he pointed it out  :o .

    A lot of condensation in the loft, very visible. House built 1995. Usual brick build etc.No idea about felt, sorry. I'm scared of my loft so I never go up there  o

    If you do not go up there, how do you know about the condensation? Who told you?
    A friend went up there to clear it for me.

    It still has to be sealed well enough for moist warm air not to flow there.
