If you're not in a union, I'd be looking to join one now. If you are, ask them for support.

So you're looking to formalise an informal agreement which has been working well since you returned from m/l -did you state that in your request? And what triggered it, was it that your manager wants to change what you feel has been working? Presumably she has some reason for doing that, and sometimes it can be countered by you pointing out the business benefits / reasons why the business will not be impacted by the change - were you able to do that?

In the weeks when you work neither a Saturday nor a Sunday, how will you work your full 30 hours?

Would you be required to work every Sunday?

If you have only been working one Sunday a month  how did you make up  your 30 hours a week?

What hours will you be working with the three set days?

The company has to deal with your entire flexible working request, including any appeal, within two months of when you put it in (11 September). The clock doesn’t restart when you appeal, unless you agreed in writing to extend the time limit. If not, they’re already out of time.

Email HR and point out that the two-month statutory period has expired, so the process is already overdue. Ask for a written outcome within seven days. If they still drag their heels, ACAS can help you start Early Conciliation
