Potential TransUnion issue

I'm a little concerned about my Transunion credit score.. it's a lot lower than my other scores.. to give background:
Experian: 999 / 999 (excellent)
Equifax: 925 / 1000 (excellent)
Transunion: 589 / 710 (fair)
Equifax has been 999 for as far back as I can check, small variations with Equifax (current score is normal, and it's only ever been that or higher), but TU is always varying, but always below "good" - ie in "fair".
A couple of weeks ago, I tried to get my TU credit report via credit karma (used to work fine), totally money, and TU directly, and got errors saying they couldn't verify my identity. So TU sent me my file manually through the post. I received today, and can now also access my report online (via TU - not tried the others that offer it free). I'm on the electoral roll (same address for 13 years).
I've checked my report, and as expected I seem to have an unblemished history - all green, paid on time, in full, never missed anything. I'm in my 40's and haven't missed a credit payment in the last 20 years.
They weren't able to tell me the reasons for initially not being able to get my report online, so doubt they'll be able to tell me anything about my actual score. And the book (only way to describe it) they sent has nothing negative in it I can see, and active credit appears on the other credit agencies as well - so I'm confused over why it can be so different
My question I guess is, how else can I find out why my score is so poor with TU vs the others?

Stopped reading there.Tripledrop said:I'm a little concerned about my Transunion credit score
The score is meaningless. Totally meaningless. Nobody sees it except you
Now you need to look at the actual DATA Transunion have for you.1 -
Why do you care?
No lenders do.

@la531983 is correct OP
Your credit history (the data) matters. Your CRA score (the number they give you) doesn’t, its made up based on each CRAs own internal scoring system.
Lenders don’t use those numbers when deciding whether to give you credit. They will look at your raw data and decide yes we will lend to this person, or no we won't.
Go back and re-read your own post, each CRA has a different scoring system 999 / 1000 / 710 (all meaningless)I have a tendency to mute most posts so if your expecting me to respond you might be waiting along time!0 -
There, fixed it for you. Regrettably though, my scores are no more meaningful that the original ones.Tripledrop said:I'm a little concerned about my Transunion credit score.. it's a lot lower than my other scores.. to give background:
