DCB Legal - Case Struck Out

Hi, I’ve not posted on here before but am very grateful for the excellent advice that has been made available (thanks to @CouponMad and @Umkomaas). I’ve had a ParkingEye PCN dating from 2020 that was passed on to DCB Legal. I ignored their letters and calls until receiving the notice from the Small Claims Court (Mar-25). I then responded and submitted the defence (Apr-25) based on the advice posted on this website followed by DQ N180 form (Jun-25) and mediation process (Jul-25) where I refused to make any payment. I received the notice the case was allocated to my local court by end of Jul-25. I subsequently had a number of attempted calls from DCB Legal but didn’t answer any. The last call was 04-Nov-25 but none since. I was expecting the next communication to be confirmation of the court hearing date. However, also on 04-Nov-25 I received the Court Judgement informing me that the ParkingEye / DCB Legal claim has been “struck out”. Based on most of the cases posted on here I was expecting to either attend a hearing or receive a Notice of Discontinuance shortly before the hearing date. Can I now assume this case is finished?

Good one.  Could you tell us which court was involved please?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
