SECRETS OF THE ROYAL PALACES - ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1) The prize comprises a two (2) night stay in the Cotswolds for two (2) people including;

a) Two (2) nights at Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa sharing a Superior Room

b) Daily Full English Breakfast

c) Full use of the spa facilities at Aquarius Spa – guests must be over 16 years of age to use the spa facilities

d) Nine course Chefs Experience evening meal on one night in The Dining Room excluding beverages – the restaurant is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

e) £45 per person allowance towards an evening meal on one night in Greys restaurant

f) General admission tickets to Highgrove Gardens for two (2) people on one day which includes a tour

2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.

3) The prize must be taken within 12 months of the winner being announced but cannot be taken on or between the following dates: and 3rd April 2026 to 6th April 2026, 1st May 2026 to 4th May 2026, 22nd May 2026 to 25th May 2026, 28th August 2026 to 31st August 2026 and 15th December 2026 to 5th January 2027. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions.

4) Garden tours run between April and September on selected dates

5) Booking is subject to availability. 

6) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

7) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

8) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. 9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

10) If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to a global pandemic and resulting Government restrictions, all winners affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

11) Any additional charges or expenses due to global pandemic or emergency which could include but are not limited to  quarantine hotels, medical passports (should they become a requirement), medical tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner. 

12) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
