With an issue date of 05/11/25 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 10/11/25 and before 24/11/25 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 08/12/25

    There are duplicate paras.
Hi, sorry can you be more specific?
    7 , 8 & 9 are showing in both pictures,  so duplicated

I assume that you cannot add the full defence to one post  ?  All 10 , so in doing the reply you overlapped,  so perhaps do 5 + 5
It's just because of the way I've done the screenshots, I'll upload it now as you suggested first 5 and last 5 points

But what about the usual Horizon claim issue that the signs probably said a £70 PCN not £80? See other Horizon Gladstones threads from last year. This was covered in defences.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi just had a look over the old threads as suggested, do I have to replace point 6 with the one made by you a while ago?

"6.  It is denied that the PCN was compliant with the POFA 2012 (because Horizon Parking did not use compliant 'keeper liability' clause 9(2)f wording in that year), so the registered keeper Defendant cannot be held liable for any sum at all. Further, the first PCN was never served and the 'Notice to Keeper/reminder' failed to offer the mandatory 40% discount and was for £70, not £80 as stated in the POC. Moreover, a keeper cannot be pursued for any sum above the 'maximum sum' set by Schedule 4 of the POFA 2012. The alleged breach (the 'relevant obligation') is unspecified and the Claim does not even state whether they are relying upon the POFA in any event. The court is invited to strike out the claim without a hearing."

Depends if all that is true.

Not sure, would it be worth it to check the parking signs? Not local though.
Or my defence is strong enough the way it is?

Just had a look and even though it's not very clear it seems that on the sign it says £70

Yup. Like I said! So just search the forum for the obvious words to find a Horizon defence written last year that covers this point.
