Looking for opinions good or bad from anyone that has used this service. Is it better than going direct to ones insurance company?

It's just a different claim management and car hire company.0

It's an accident management firm like any other, they make their money by putting you in credit hire or selling you to a solicitor for injury claim. All AMCs will have challenges from third party insurers on why you needed credit hire, which AMC you choose doesnt materially impact it its more which third party insurer is involved and how much of a fight they decide to put up. Back in my day we'd check the dates etc but as long as that was reasonable and the hire was under £1k then we paid. We challenged more when cost of hire was over £1k especially when its the type of case where they've run up £20k of hire charges on a car that was written off for £1k0
