Double checking my Template defence for DCB Legal fine

Hey Everyone,

I use a gym car park which is free for gym membership holders (i have a membership for well over a year). After parking your car, you go inside the gym and enter your car's registration on this "parking tablet" which basically registers your car and your good to go. You do this everytime you use the gym.

A few months back i used the gym and forgot to enter my details in the parking tablet. As a result I got a parking fine from DCB. I completely ignored this (mistake on my part), and now I have just received an N1SDT claim form. I have done  all the initial things in the newbies thread, and now I am creating my defence (based on the template defence form).

BTW the gym is happy to confirm that I am a membership holder.

Below is my template defence, please let me know if you have guidance or tips. My deadline is 14 November.

P2 - same as template

P3:

The Defendant was a legitimate and authorised user of the car park, which serves the patrons of (gym name here). The Defendant was, at the time of the alleged incident, a paying gym member with full entitlement to use the car park as part of their membership. The usual process requires patrons to input their vehicle registration number on a tablet inside the gym, confirming use of the facilities. On the material date, the Defendant inadvertently failed to enter their registration, but was present as a genuine customer. The gym has confirmed that the Defendant has been a continuous paying member since before the date of the alleged incident, demonstrating that the Defendant was entitled to park and derived no unfair benefit from doing so.

Link doesn't work even after removing spaces.

As a result I got a parking fine from DCB
You didn't! They are not a PPC.

Which parking firm? If it is Smart Parking we don't need further discussion as you can just copy one of the hundreds of defences already here.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
