then I had to go to Asda to get dd some new wellies in antcipation of snow (£2 btw, in the sale). I popped over to buy yoghurts and saw a guy with a pricing gun (8pm), I got 3 packs of 6 aberdeen angus sausages for 45p each, 3 packs of steak mince at 20p each and 3 packs of 8 beef meatballs at 10p each.
It's one of my proudest shopping moments! Asda-8pm-here I come lol.
Just wanted to share as I'm so chuffed.:D

I never see these offers! How do I find out what time they happen? Didn't think it was so regularanymore as shops open 7 days a week.

(Saying that I got 4 mini pizzas in Tesco for 44p the other day - they're normally 44p each)

Well done you! I don't usually come across these bargains either but I was in Asda on Wednesday when a lovely shop assisitant pointed me in the direction of some £12 gammon joints that were reduced to £1! Very tasy it was too and loads frozen for future meals.

Oh yes and this was at about 1pm so it was just a case of being in the right place at the right time!

Our Asda do reduce things but nowhere near that much, the cheapest i've found steak mince reduced is from £2.19 to £1.19 and i've been at all hours of the day and night. Bread gets reduced to a good price as does salad, fruit and veg but meat and chilled items dont tend to

Oooh that was great. I havent found any bargains for a while. My best ever was lamb chops. Should of been £6 plus. Reduced to 50p. !!
Yes i bought them all ( 12) packs and put them straight into the freezer

i very rarely find offers like these.

i did one eve pop to morrisons with my mum to just do my normal shopping. she likes to go of an evening f she gets chance just to buy bargin's. and i did get some gorgeous huge pizzas reduced from £3.79 to 39p. and a bag of inidian takeway meal for 2 reduced from £6 to £1.

i often see chicken wings reduced tho , but i don't eat them.

This can becme addictive. I never seemed to get stuff in Tesco reduced that much until I had to go in one night after 9pm and came home laden with cream for the freezer, mince, veg, bread, milk etc reduced to 10p each.

I have to stop myself going down every night.

My sis refuses to come shopping with me if i go in the evening as she says i'm like a vulture circling the reduced section then i pounce when they come along with their little sticker gun lol :rotfl:

The best i could manage was 3 packs of mixed veg in Tesco's reduced to 10p each - it did make a nice soup thought!

I used to work in a small supermarket, and we closed at 11pm. From 10pm everything with today's date would get reduced down to 10p.

A bunch of people got wind of this and would come at 10pm, but then sometimes everything was gone (guess who?), so they would come earlier - and hide the food on other shelves until 10pm.

We used to call them the ''10p people'' and they used to annoy the hell out of us by messing up all the shelves we had nicely faced forward. :mad:

Now I realise why my grocery bill is so high - I no longer have access to these 10p bargins.
