The letter does have a ‘Without Prejudice’ statement in the second paragraph, so you cannot use that letter in any court hearing, until after a judgment when costs are assessed. Doesn’t change anything in terms of progression, if you want to pay nothing, let’s see what PE are going to do next.

Interestingly, it's been well over 14 days since their last letter (28th May) and I have not heard from Parkingeye since.

No news of discontinuation or further legal action on the case…

Is it possible that they are cooking something up and are preparing for a court date?

Or perhaps they have dropped it and not bothered to inform me?

I would have thought they would go through a legitimate process and confirm either way this goes, so just making sure I haven't missed an email/letter on the off chance.

We dont speculate on the internal struggles or systems of private parking companies

Wait for something to happen, no what ifs

Ps, at the moment you don't appear to have a court claim, so you definitely don't have a court hearing date

You could just simply check the status of your parking charge on their website. Go as if to pay (but you obviously don’t!) and check it out. If it’s still showing as outstanding, you’re going to have to wait for PE’s next move. If it’s showing a ‘Nil’ balance, take a screenshot and save for posterity!

    OK, thanks for the advice.

I've just checked their website and the charge is still there.

Outstanding at £100 as "promised" in their last letter.

I'll ignore them and keep waiting for now
