Show off your writing skills by entering your pony-themed poem!

Do you dream of being a writer, or simply love reading horsey poetry? This is your chance to come up with your own poem and see it published in PONY magazine!

You can write about anything pony-themed. Will you be inspired by real life, or magical unicorns or even your dream horsey moment (winning Badminton, anyone?!)? We can’t wait to find out!

We’ll pick one lucky winner from each of the two categories – 10 and under and 11 and over.

THE RULES

1. Your poem must be your own work – that means you can’t copy anyone else’s poem.

2. You must enter your poem by 5 January 2026.

3. One entry per reader.

4. Your poem must be no more than 590 characters and 90 words long

5. Your poem must be original work – this means it’s your own idea and you have written it yourself, without the help of an adult or AI

6. By entering you agree for PONY magazine to edit and reproduce your story in print and online

7. There is no lower age limit for entries. The upper age limit is 16 years old.
