I don't think RBL is just for ex-services who have lost limbs, or are homeless. The ones I met (not many, I grant you, but still...) were ex-services themselves, so they will understand you, your background and the problems you are going through now.Sealed Pot Challenge no 14

My cousin was in the army for thirty years. I’ve only met him once but I’d say he pretty much definitely has ADHD. He’s been retired about fifteen years now. Lives in Australia.0

I was in a similar situation around 2010, at your age too. My job was making me a nervous wreck, I used to lie awake at nights sweating with anxiety about the next day at work.
Eventually I bit the bullet, took a 75% pay cut and changed career, starting at the bottom again. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The initial financial hardship was not easy but it passed, and I never doubted I'd done the right thing for a single second, even at the hardest points. It was a few years of hardship in exchange for the rest of a life at peace.
You have probaby 30 years of work ahead of you. Do you want to be miserable that whole time because of your job? What effect will that have on the people you love?1
