Is there an up-to-date list of how quickly credit card providers will deem you a new customer again?

I'm thinking of closing several credit cards and then reapplying to the same providers in order to take advantage of new customer interest-free deals.
Is there an up-to-date list of how quickly the different providers will deem you a new customer? I remember seeing one online years ago, but I can't find it now.

Dont think I've ever seen a limit on interest free periods, Ive even applied for a second card with the same firm and gotten the interest free period on it.alexanderalexander said:I'm thinking of closing several credit cards and then reapplying to the same providers in order to take advantage of new customer interest-free deals.

Where new customer deals tend to have a time restriction is things like bonus cash back or additional points if you spend X in the first Y months etc.0 -
Providers work to their own procedures.
There is not hard & fast rule on how long they keep your data.
Surprising you do not get offers on your current cards.
Halifax are offering me several times a year.
But maybe your details income etc are not up to date with your lenders, so all they have is current available credit & old income. So affordability says no...Life in the slow lane0 -
New customer offers tend to be better than existing customers, at least in my experience.born_again said:Providers work to their own procedures.

It's not a data retention question though, haven't looked recently but for example AmEx went from 3 months to 6 months to 1 year required gap before you would get the sign up bonus for airmiles again. However theirs is/was more nuanced because it wasnt about being a customer but about being a customer with an airmiles card so in principle you could actively hold a cash back card and still qualify for the sign up bonus of airmiles on a different card.0 -
I do get offers coming through on my existing cards, but new customer offers are invariably much better than existing customer offers.born_again said:Providers work to their own procedures.
