Parking Ticket Advice

Hello Forum,

I was recently issued a parking ticket by UKPC for leaving the shopping area where the car park is situated. 

I have read through the newbies forum and the successful appeal cases, however most of them seem to be for relatively minor offences, e.g overstating by a few minutes or briefly leaving the car park area after making some purchases first. 

However, I did not really use any of the shops and only stayed at the car park because I needed to visit an unrelated venue and was running late. I saw the signs saying I could not leave the promises (there were very many of them) but did not think they would be enforced. I came back just within the 2 hour time limit. The link asking to pay has photos of the car from different angles but not of me leaving the premises.

My conscience says I should pay as I clearly broke the rules but I also do not want to part with £60 (soon to be £100). 

What would your advice be?

Check that NTK PCN letter for Pofa2012 compliance,  or not, if this is within England and Wales

Firstly, do not identify yourself as the driver, no "I did", "I left", etc. in any communications.

As for your conscience; it doesn't apply when you are dealing with scammers.

Thank you for the advice. As far as I can see the letter we written properly and in compliance with PoFA 2012.

But presumably when you log in to view UKPC's 'evidence photos' they have no evidence of the driver leaving the site?
