Adaptive Headlights

I have just discovered that from next month - ALL new cars in UK must have adaptive headlights fitted..........

That's the ones that not only dip automatically for oncoming traffic but also shape the pattern of light for distance use and re-point with the turn of the wheel (like Citroens/Saabs did 50 + years ago)

As far I can find out, there was talk of a mandate to start Dec 2025 but this hasn't yet been agreed or implemented?

There are currenty 305 Bills going through Parliament, feel free to try to find the one that mandates adaptive headlights.

Hmmm...sounds like nonsense to me. The domain was only registered in June and the website gives no clues as to who they are or their bona fides, or references to anything remotely 'official' or definitive.
