Micro Entity Ltd Company accounts filing - HMRC / Companies House

I've spent the last 2 days going round in circles / 8 calls to HMRC and their only suggestion is to write in to them....

We are a small micro entity company looking to submit our own accounts (accountancy trained).  The accounts are all done - they just need sumbmitted.  However, going forward we thought it would save time if we used a package - Clearbooks, Sage, Xero, Freeagent, whoever..... whereby at the end of the year we simply pressed the button and they were submitted.  Have phoned many companies but none of them include in their packages the option for the company to include property income (line 190 in the CT600 form) which the company has.

8 calls later to HMRC departments (Corporation tax / Online Services Helpdesk) and they have confirmed you cannot submit direct to HMRC if you have property income.  But they cannot tell me how to submit.  Their only recommendation is to write to them with a 15 working day aim to reply.

I am desparate to get these accounts submitted so I can move on. Does anyone know a package that would allow us to include property income and then change the file into iXBRL format to then get them submitted. Any help would be much appreciated!

Have a look at InformDirect: File Micro-Entity Accounts with Companies House Online – Inform Direct

    Cost looks ok at £45+VAT.

According to their FAQ, you can prepare a set of abbreviated accounts and a set of full accounts with InformDirect, and convert these to iXBRL to submit to Companies House and HMRC respectively.

I'm Treasurer for a sport club and am hoping to use InformDirect when I have to provide the first set of accounts in iXBRL format to HMRC, so I'd be interested to hear how you get on.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Thanks, I'll try and phone them tomorrow but on the surface looks good.
