QDR letter regarding alleged 5 year old infringement

I've received a text message with a link to a portal. On logging in the letter is actually addressed to my wife for her car based on a parking issue from over 5 years ago. We moved house in the August of that year. We don't recall receiving any communication before that. 

What should I do here?

So the OP could string QDR along into the New Year which should delay the case being passed to another solicitor who actually will look to litigate.

Or already statute barred by 6 months, depending on which country we're talking about..
