In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. He does but is stuck in a messy, long winded divorce where he is still paying a mortgage of a house he's not lived in in 8 years as his ex refuses to pay it. He wants to sell and she won't agree so its going to court. He is also a fair bit older than me 57 so that would affect how long of a term we could get. For me personally id rather own it on my own.Albermarle said:Does your partner not have an income to help with housing costs ?0 -
If you’ve only viewed this one property then you have very little basis for comparison. If I were you I’d book as many viewings as you can for the next few days. The more you see, the more you’ll learn about what you really value. I really wouldn’t make an offer on the only property I’d viewed.Good luck!0
